I did tell myself that I was going to keep this blog up and running.  If nothing else, just to keep a diary of my going-ons.

Today, I was simply the most bored I have ever been!  Ryan went to Columbia with his Dad…hopefully he will be back soon.  John is downstairs playing the Xbox.

Reprieve from the boredom came in the form of  some cookie baking and bread baking.  Smells awesome in the house now!!

Once Again..The Neglectful Blog

I am just absolutely terrible in keeping up with this blog….That will be a new year’s resolution!

Christmas has come and gone yet another year.  I totally didn’t have the Christmas spirit at all.  No tree at all….few decorations.  Just couldn’t get in to it.  Part of it was that I knew I was going to be alone going into this…but the blues hit sometime this afternoon.  I ended up just watching TV with John.  After a bit, even he went and laid down for a nap…lmao!

We did have some snow…making it a White Christmas!!

This is just a picture taken from out the door this morning.  It was just too bitterly cold to venture outside…lol!

Baby..It’s Cold Outside!!!

Wowzers…it is cold outside!!!  Definitely we are getting knee deep in winter! No snow…just some flurries.  Nothing huge or anything to write home about.  But I did do some cards!!

Well, with a recent bout of computer malfunctions, I am back in the blog world again!!!  So much has happened since I last blogged.  I now find myself single again.  Whew…this should be an interesting ride, to say the least.

Thanksgiving was fantastic…just the 3 kids and I enjoying the bounties of good food.  We are all cooked something and it was delish!!!

But I also wanted to show off some cards that I have made!!  I got my hands on some cool My Mind’s Eye papers and diecuts!  So I just sat home on a Friday night and produced the following:

Rainy Saturday

Nothing like a rainy Saturday to just laze around the house and watch tv!  I am trying to find my mojo again….It may be under the laundry piles I have going on downstairs!  Today’s tv fare seems to be The History Channel with a bit of USA Network…lol.

With the weather being cool and cloudy, I think I will venture into my scraproom and try to finish off some cards, my Halloween house and whatever else!  Of course, I will need to find something in which to watch or listen to.  Decisions, decisions.  Honestly, I need to get to Family Video or Redbox and rent some newer releases.  I seem stuck in my rut of horror movies that I own.  Mindless entertainment while I scrap.  Of course, I read that the new Saw movie is coming out in October, I believe.  I need to watch Saw 5 first…lol.  Hmm…I could do all the movies today!!!  There is an idea!

Where Have I Been???

WOW!  I know I started this blog to show off my creative team layouts, but what the hell happened to me???  I haven’t typed anything since May!!!

Not much is going on here in my neck of the woods.  Ryan has started to take some classes over at ECC.  He hasn’t decided on a major yet, but is taking some prelim courses.

John is now officially working at Wendy’s!  He is enjoying it so far.  Especially since he got his first check..lol!  He is in Tae Kwon Do and has just “belted” up to 8th grade decided orange belt.  I think he is a bit disappointed but I am proud of him.  He is doing fabulously.

Roger is doing pretty good.  Today was a bad day and he slept most of the day.  He woke up earlier this morning, feeling dizzy and such.

Me?  I guess I am ok.  I have some really bad thoughts and personal feelings going awry lately.  I have my reasons and I need to just live with things the way they are.

Beyond that, I want to show off some of my new Halloween cards I actually did today!!!  And one card that has been half-finished FOREVER!

I totally scraplifted this cutie from Shanna Vineyard over at 2Peas.  I used some Bo Bunny and Imaginesce papers.

FOBTY May 21st

Over at the Sweet Shoppe blog, we were asked to relate how our May shaped up so far.

With work taking up most of my time, I haven’t done too much this month.  My vacation was the first week along with National Scrapbooking Day.  Did I get alot done?  Not as much as I wanted to.  But that is usually how it is goes in our household.  I end up staying up wayyyy too late each night and then end up sleeping in.  Of course, I will not complain about that.  My body is getting to the point where I need more and more sleep.  I am not sure if it is the meds I am on or the meds I went off.

We (the girls at work) were supposed to go to Six Flags last weekend, but that was a bust when we found out that the park was only open to schools.

After last night’s surprise ending to American Idol, I now will listen to the stuff from everyone at work that watches with me.  I was the only Adam fan there…lol!  I absolutely adored him!  I love the theatrics he brought to the stage.  And good golly, KISS and Santana and Queen!!!  A great night of watching … even Ryan sat upstairs to watch with us!

As you can see, there is not much that goes on in our household.  And I am not complaining!  I don’t think we are boring but just laid back.  We don’t have any little ones anymore to take cutesy pics of.  Well, there is John…lol!

Well, I am off to do some digital scrapping!  There are challenges that are calling my name!!  Of course, the SYTYCD premiere is on this evening and I need to get something for supper ready!

Digital Layouts for May 16th

Before I start posting my challenge layouts for today, I just want to remind myself in print to not eat a bunch of my fav chips in one sitting. The chips in question are the Lay’s Flaming Hot chips. I remember, many years ago, driving and searching for these elusive chips. Now they are at Walmart in a big bag (are they insane??????). I buy them every once in awhile and munch in happiness. Till I stop. Then the heat kicks in. Ack….I have already had 2 cans of Pepsi to tame it. Ugh! When will I learn?!?!?
